Self-care can be a new soap or scent themed after your favorite games and characters... or it can be deliciously indulgent art and animation of your beloved OCs. Who am I to decide? All I know is both things are great ways to make your days a little brighter, and all the better when you can share that work with fellow fans. But to know more on that, you'll just have to read my interviews with CHOKKOmiilk and Bunnalien!

The joy of fan art is having the ability to create what you want to see in a franchise that you love, and Maud MIW and Mallaichte are no exceptions. From tarot to folklore, Part 2 of the September interviews look at how both artists bring their own aesthetic and influence to their fan works.
XIVFMN September 2025 Spotlight Interviews, Pt. 1: Erie Craft Collective & Faelich Studios
Part 1 of the September XIVFMN spotlights are two wonderful examples of finding support in community. Whether it's the creative duo team of Erie Craft Collective, or FaeLich Studio finding a home in the friends they've made in XIV, today's interviews touch on how community plays such a large role in creators' artistic journeys.

The art in Part 1 of the August XIVFMN feature column is perhaps some of the most vibrant yet. 7marichan7 and fuzzyren's works burst with color and expressiveness, and their interviews explore the vibrancy that brings their art to life.

XIVFMN June 2025 Spotlight Interviews: Deckitout, IgnisKat, & Steelfeather Workshop
If you like little guys, this series of interviews is for you. Today we're admiring little guy keychains by Deckitout, little guy emotes by IgnisKat, and little guy plushies by Steelfeather Workshop - but even if little guys aren't your thing, this month's featured artists have plenty of other art and insights for our June interview series.
Inquiries of Art: Clinkorz
Clinkorz online discovered her love of laser art and etching in the long arc of her work in illustration, sculpting, and props-making. Her portfolio of work is a testament to how giving one's all to each project now builds the stepping stones for every new project later, with each finished piece of art better than the last.
Inquiries of Art: Why Maige
The cute yet deadly White Mage character that is the center of Why Maige's comics is a tongue-in-cheek representation of many XIV players' occasional frustrations, and laughing about those frustrations is always more fun than letting them sour the game. "If you don’t laugh, you’re going to cry" - and Why Maige, no matter what difficulties she faces in-game or in life, would always much rather laugh.
Inquiries of Art: Luminis Candle Co.
When reflecting on the breadth of xer artwork, Gideon asked the question: "What about art with a meaning or message that people can smell?" The candles xey have created since as Luminis Candle Co. have, pun intended, lit a new fire in the XIV community.
Inquiries of Art: Charmwitch
I have long admired the inviting charm, the vibrant colors, and the joyful wonder in every expression in the artwork of Angelica Maria, aka charmwitch. After speaking with Angie for her interview, there was little wonder why such joy exudes from her work, for her art has ever been a beacon through her own personal journey.
